Our volunteer crews are called to shouts 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. They take our lifeboats out into often treacherous conditions to save lives at sea.

Inshore Lifeboat Launch to Person in Water

Bridlington inshore lifeboat was tasked to a reported person in the water in the harbour area Thursday 29th April, the Police, coastguard and ambulance service were also in attendance, the individual was taken to hospital for checks and the IlB was stood down. Read More

ALB training exercise turns into a shout.

Today Sunday 14th March was intended to be a training exercise for the ALB crew, who had not been on regular training due to covid 19 restrictions. ILB launched to assist paddle boarder.

Humber coastguard paged Bridlington Inshore Lifeboat on Saturday 13th March to assist a paddle boarder reported to be in difficulty off the North beach. The ILB was stood down shortly after launch after the paddle boarder was reported to have made it safely back to the beach. Read More

ALB launched to assist in search for missing person.

Bridlington ALB crew were paged at 15.26 on January 26th to assist Flamborough lifeboat crew and coastguard helicopter search for a missing person, the search was called of after 5 hours. Flamborough relaunched on the following day and recovered the missing person. Read More
